Terms of service
The working agreement behind every project. Last updated 25 August 2026.
Scope and quotes
Every project starts with a written scope. Fixed-price quotes hold for 30 days and cover exactly what the scope lists; anything added later is quoted separately before it is built.
Payment
Work is billed in milestones — typically a deposit to start, then payments tied to delivery stages. Invoices are due within 7 days unless agreed otherwise. Work pauses on overdue invoices rather than quietly continuing.
Ownership
On final payment, you own the deliverables: source code, design files, content and credentials. I keep the right to show non-confidential work in a portfolio unless an NDA says otherwise.
Third-party services
Hosting, domains, plugins, APIs and licences are billed at cost to you and remain in your accounts. I will never hold your infrastructure hostage.
Revisions and support
Each stage includes a review round. After launch, a defect in delivered work is fixed at no charge for 30 days; new features and content changes are quoted as new work or covered by a maintenance retainer.
Confidentiality
Anything you share is treated as confidential by default. I will sign your NDA, or send mine, before detailed project information is exchanged.
Liability
Liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected stage of work. I do not accept liability for lost profit or third-party service outages.
Scope boundary
Enterprise CRM platforms and long-running in-house product teams are handled by my company, NodeAscend Tech. This studio stays on creative design, web and app builds, and AI automation — the work I personally design and code.
Ready when you are.
Send the brief; the terms above travel with the quote so there are no surprises later.
